New to crypto? No problem. Follow these 3 steps to set up your wallet and pay your first premium.
Step 1: Install Phantom Wallet
Phantom is a free crypto wallet app. You need it to hold USDT and pay your premium. It takes about 2 minutes to set up.
Download Phantom
Go to phantom.app or search "Phantom" in your app store. It is free to download.
Create a new wallet
Open the app and tap "Create New Wallet". You will see 12 secret words. Write them down and keep them safe — these are your backup.
Your wallet is ready
You now have a Solana wallet address. It looks like a long string of letters and numbers. You will use this address to receive USDT.
Download from App Store or Google Play
Search for "Phantom" in the App Store (iPhone) or Google Play (Android). Download the free app.
Install the browser extension
Visit phantom.app on Chrome, Firefox, or Brave. Click "Download" and add the browser extension.
It is free and takes about 2 minutes. You do not need to give any personal information to create a wallet.
Step 2: Get USDT
USDT is the digital currency used to pay your premium. Here are the most common ways to get it in Korea.
What is USDT?
USDT is a digital dollar — 1 USDT is always equal to 1 US dollar. It does not go up or down in value like Bitcoin. It is safe and stable.
Buy on a Korean exchange
Open an account on Upbit or Bithumb (Korean exchanges that accept Korean bank transfers). Buy USDT there, then send it to your Phantom wallet address.
Receive from a friend or family
If someone you trust already has USDT, they can send it directly to your Phantom wallet address. This is the fastest way.
Use a P2P marketplace
Peer-to-peer platforms let you buy USDT from other people directly. Check Binance P2P or local options in Korea.
